Desperate to see this Film, Tom Ford's debut into cinema!!! Spent the last 5 months trying to download it. I can only inmagine how utterly beautiful the film will be, especially the cinematography & mise en scène. As well as Mr Ford being made by one of my style icons, the simple promo pic of a louche-looking Julianne Moore with that amazing titian coiffure draped alongside Colin Firth have totally seduced me.
Based on the novel by Christopher Isherwood, A Single Man follows a day in the life of George, who is contemplating ending his life after losing his partner in a car-crash. It played last week at The Academy for the World Cinema Showcase but I couldn't make it - so May 6th it is!
