the return of biba

1960s swinging fashion wouldn't have had nearly as much swing without cult London boutique Biba, run by Barbara Hulanicki. The Biba look was "fresh little foals with long legs, bright faces and round dolly eyes." According to Hulanicki, Biba girls looked "like a funeral" (a fabulous, amazing funeral, of course).

Now Biba is back. Hulanicki is the latest in a long line of incredibly unique designers to do a line for Topshop. The collection, to be released this spring, is based on a Good Girl/Bad Girl concept. It's floaty and pretty meats tough and will introduce Biba to a whole new generation of high street shoppers.
